Managed IT · Cybersecurity — San Diego

Managed IT and cybersecurity for San Diego companies that have outgrown their IT provider.

Technology support. By humans. For humans.

Aero is the single IT partner for organizations with 25 to 250+ people. Support, security, cloud, phones, hardware and strategy, all under one roof: a real person when something breaks, proactive work so fewer things break, and a plan your leadership can actually read.

Support specialists based in San Diego, some bilingual in English and Spanish, with support for branch offices nationwide.

Straight answers

Right now:

Who we work with

You’ve outgrown “the IT guy.” You don’t want a faceless national provider either.

Organizations with 25 to 250+ people carry enterprise-grade risk without an enterprise IT budget. Most come to us in one of three situations.

One partner for everything technology

If it plugs in, connects, or logs in, it’s ours.

The value of one partner is that nothing falls between vendors. You call one number for all of it, and we own the outcome even when a vendor caused the problem.

  • Help desk and on-site support
  • Servers, cloud, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
  • Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android fleets
  • Networks, Wi-Fi and cabling
  • EDR, managed detection and response, SIEM and backups
  • Business phones and conference rooms
  • Printers, copiers and AV
  • Hardware, software and vendor management
  • AI tools, with guardrails
  • Security evidence and insurance questionnaires
  • Office moves and new locations
  • Fractional CTO: roadmap and budget

Everything that’s included

What we do

Four disciplines. One accountable partner.

01 / Operate

Technology that stays up

24/7 monitoring, a responsive service desk, and on-site support specialists across San Diego County.

02 / Secure

Layered, rehearsed defense

EDR on every endpoint, 24/7 managed detection and response, identity threat detection for your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant, SIEM, email security and backup, with an incident plan you’ve practiced.

03 / Prove

Controls you can prove

The technical safeguards your insurer, auditor or client asks about, implemented and documented.

04 / Advise

A seat at the table

A fractional CTO who builds your roadmap and budget, and reports to leadership every quarter.

Why organizations switch

Most people don’t leave an IT provider over price. They leave over this.

The five complaints we hear most from organizations that come to us, and what we do differently.

  • “We wait too long for help.” Named support specialists who know your environment, tickets triaged by business impact, and response targets we report against, misses included.
  • “Everything is a surprise.” Monitoring and maintenance that catch problems before they become outages, and a monthly report of what we found and fixed.
  • “Nobody tells us what’s going on.” Plain-English updates on every ticket and project. If we don’t know yet, we say so, then find out.
  • “There’s no plan.” A fractional CTO, quarterly reviews with leadership, a roadmap and a 12-month budget.
  • “Security is a checkbox.” EDR, managed detection and response and identity monitoring that are actually watched by people around the clock, and insurance questionnaires you can answer truthfully.

A fair warning

We’re not the right fit for everyone.

We’d rather say so on the first call than find out in month three. If any of these describe you, we’ll point you somewhere better.

  • You want someone to fix things only when they break, and bill by the hour. Our whole model is preventing the break.
  • You want the cheapest option. We’re not the most expensive provider in San Diego, and we’re not trying to be the cheapest. We’re trying to be the one you keep for a decade.
  • You’d rather not know. We report the misses as well as the hits, and we’ll tell you when a risk you’ve accepted is a bad idea.
  • You need a vendor, not a partner. We ask questions, sit in on leadership reviews, and own outcomes. Some organizations don’t want that. That’s fine.

Thinking about switching?

Changing IT providers, without the drama.

Switching is the part everyone dreads. Our onboarding is documented and staged, and nothing is cut over until it’s been tested.

  1. First

    Consultation

A conversation about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need from a provider. We’ll tell you if we’re not the right fit.

  2. Then

    Discovery

Full inventory, credential vaulting, documentation, and a secure handover from your current provider.

  3. Next

    Stabilize

Security baseline, monitoring, backups verified by restore test, and critical fixes first.

  4. Ongoing

    Review

Regular reviews with leadership: what happened, what’s next, and what it will cost.

Built in San Diego

Fluent in the industries that run this county.

Law firms and financial firms downtown. Medical groups and clinics across the county. Agencies and production companies with a deadline tonight. Manufacturers, builders and multi-site operators everywhere in between. Each comes with its own risks and rules, and we’ve built our playbooks around them.

Our office is in Bankers Hill. Our support specialists work on site across San Diego County, and we support branch offices for multi-location clients nationwide.

What clients say

Rated 5.0 on Google and Yelp. Here’s what they actually said.

Every quote below is from a public review. Ratings as of September 2026: 5.0 on Google (23 reviews) and 5.0 on Yelp (7 reviews). Read them all on Google (opens in a new tab) or on Yelp (opens in a new tab).

“I switched from another IT company and the difference in service, quality of work, efficiency and knowledge is night and day. I feel as though I have a true partner in Aero IT.”

Amy R.Google review

“Everyone at Aero IT clearly and plainly explains in non-IT jargon what the issue is, so even the lay person can understand what needs to be done and what our options are. They are part of the team at our business.”

Megan A.Google review

“We’ve been clients of Aero IT for well over a decade. As we’ve grown, Aero has grown with us. They are extremely responsive and can roll with the punches, working with our team and assorted tech partners.”

Ross J.Google review, law firm

“They fixed the issues that the last IT folks messed up, cleaned everything up, re-networked everything so it made sense, and we use them for all our day-to-day needs. Extremely responsive.”

Vision SpecialistsGoogle review, medical practice

“The night before our move I started to panic about the new IP address. Aero had already prepared for the transition, including our website, our email, and our crucial online order form. I had nothing to worry about.”

Karen M.Yelp review, print shop relocation

“They don’t bury us in tech-speak; they talk to us in terms we understand. He keeps meticulous records, so if we lose a system password, all we need to do is call.”

Laura D.Google review, architecture firm

Updates

Notes from the work.

Short, specific and true: what we see inside real environments, what’s changing, and what to do about it. Created in-house by the Aero team, not a marketing agency.

All updates

  1. Cyber insurance questionnaires: saying yes is easy. Proving it takes records.

Cyber insurance renewal has a way of showing up with a questionnaire longer than your last lease. The hard part isn’t answering it. It’s backing the answers up.

  2. “Dear Valued User” is not a support strategy.

Somewhere in Southern California, an office manager just opened a support ticket and got back a reply that started with “Dear Valued User.” We think that person deserves better.

Common questions

Before you book a call.

How much does managed IT cost?

A flat monthly fee per user, based on the scope you choose. Routine support, monitoring, maintenance and the security baseline are included. Projects and hardware are quoted separately, in writing, before any work starts. See how pricing works.

Do you handle everything, or just computers?

Everything technology. Computers, servers, cloud, security, networks, phones, printers, conference rooms, procurement and the vendors behind them. One number to call, one team that owns the outcome. See what’s included.

How long does switching take?

Most switches reach steady state in 30 to 45 days. Discovery and documentation come first, then a security baseline, then go-live. Nothing is cut over until it’s been tested. See how onboarding works.

Can you help us use AI responsibly?

Yes. In most organizations, staff are already using AI tools, with or without a policy. We find what’s in use, set an acceptable-use policy, get Microsoft 365 ready for Copilot, and train your team to get real time back. Guardrails first, then results. See AI, done responsibly.

Do you support Mac as well as Windows?

Yes. We manage Mac and Windows fleets to the same security standard, with the same reporting, along with iPhone and Android devices.

Can your team help our staff in Spanish?

Sí. Some of our team are bilingual in English and Spanish, so your people can get help in whichever language they’re most comfortable with. Just ask when you call or send a request.

Do you come on site?

Yes. Our support specialists are based in San Diego and come on site across the county for hardware, network and hands-on work. Branch offices outside the county are supported through vetted local technicians working to our standards.

Security & trust

We hold ourselves to the standard we set for you.

A provider with admin access to your systems is part of your attack surface. Here’s how we manage ours, starting with this website.

Read our security practices

  • Email authentication enforced. DMARC at p=reject with strict alignment, so nobody can send email as aeroit.com.
  • No third-party code on this site. No ad networks, trackers or cookies, and a strict Content Security Policy.
  • Privileged access, controlled. MFA on every staff account, per-client credentials held in an encrypted vault with access logging, and administrator rights granted only when needed.
  • Documented incident response. A written plan, kept current, including how and when we notify affected clients.

Start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes with a support specialist, not a salesperson. We’ll ask about your environment, tell you what we’d look at first, and say so if we’re not the right fit. No cost, no obligation, and nobody will call you seven times.
